Celia and Anaïs are contemporary circus artists, together creating as The LIANA Duo. At the age of 11, they started training aerial silks together at youth circus CABUWAZI, soon leading the youth group YOU ‘N ME.
In social and cultural studies at European University Viadrina, they acquired a broad understanding of socio-linguistics shaping social structures, EU politics, visualization of the female in media, inclusion through circus and music, providing them with inspiration but also critical thinking for artistic creations

Contrast. Stiffness. Flexibility. Fluidity. Rigidity. Silk and Wire.
Wired is an exploration of contrasts: connection and separation, softness and stiffness, fluidity and rigidity, silk and metal. Three performers interact in a space where opposing materials are combined, entangled, transformed.
Wired can mean connection, feeling nervous or being energetic—but how does it feel to be literally wired to another person while moving high above the ground?
